Oriental Bay Fire MR. GRAY SUCCUMBS Nearly two and a half days after being admitted to the hospital, Mr. Walter Gray died there at .10.30 a.m. on Saturday from injuries received when he jum ed from the bathroom window of a blazing house in' Oriental Bay just after midnight on Wednesday. The late Mr. Gray was an accountant, of Sydney, and was to have left New Zealand on Friday to rejoin his wife. Cut off from the stairs by the spreading fire Mr. Gray jumped from the bathroom window on an upjier floor and received head injuries and internal injuries when he struck the concrete path below. He was taken to the hospital unconscious and made generally satisfactory progress until he collapsed and died on Saturday morning.
