APPLICATION FOR LOAN
False Declaration Alleged By Telegraph. —Press Association. Auckland, December 5. A carpenter, Samuel Thomas Baker, aged 36, was arrested last night and charged to-day that in August, 1929, he made a false declaration in support of an application by himself for a loan from the State Advances Department. Baker was remanded to December 11, when similar charges against others who have already been arrested will be heard. Bail was granted.
