MUSIC FOR OPERA
“Toymaker of Nuremberg”
AUSTRALIAN’S SUCCESS London, Devember 5. Dudley Glass, of Melbourne, has written the music for a large-scale new production of the “Toymaker of Nuremberg, which is being produced at the Kingsway Theatre on December 20. It is a musical version of Austin Strong’s play shown at the Playhouse Theatre in 1910. Federick Ranalow takes the chief part ot theToymaker. Adrian Ross wrote the lyrics anil George Sheringham, who was associated with Gilbert and Sullivan productions, has designed the typical scenery.
