SUNNY WEEK-END
Fine in All Chief Cities Warm sunny weather with a very light northerly breeze made the week-end in Wellington one of the most pleasant since the winter. ' . Ideal summer conditions prevailed in Auckland during the week-end. A light south-west wind was blowing,. The barometer was falling and last evening stood at 30.00 in. . It was cloudy and fine in Dunedin on Saturday, with a fresh wind from the south-east. The maximum temperature was 77 degrees and the barometer was steady at 30.00 in. Sunday was overcast all day, with a fresh south-easterly wind. The maximum temperature was 75 degrees and the barometer was falling slightly. The week-end weather at Christchurch was the best of the summer to date. Light rain fell on Saturday morning, but the sky cleared a little later and the afternoon was warm and fine. Yesterday there was bright sunshine and no wind.
