WELLINGTON WINS Primary Schools’ Match Chiefly owing to splendid innings by McWilliams (51) and Turnbull (49), the Wairaraptp senior primary schools’ eleven made a good recovery from Its first innings score of only 50, to which Wellington replied with 134, and when the last wicket fell on Saturday morning, had compiled 138. This left the Wellington eleven with 54 runs to get, and these were secured for the loss of five wickets. In fact, the score was 72 when the fifth wicket fell, but nearly all the scoring was done by one batsman, Daly, who hit up 55. before he was clean bowled by Vincent. Edwards, with four wickets fo ( r 3 runs, was Wellington’s most successful bowler.
