Khandallah’s Steady Progress A steady growth in numbers of the congregation of the Khandallah Presbytexian Church was reported at the twenty-sixth annual meeting of the church recently. The membership roll, It was stated, now stood at 202. The Rev. R. S. Watson presided over a representative attendance. The congregational work had well maintained, it was stated, the Young People’s organisations in especial being in a very healthy condition. A monthly evening service for young people had been Initiated, and this had been well supported by them, both young men and women having assisted the minister in the conduct of the services. The children attending the Sunday school had increased from 142 fo 179, the work having been carried on by Mr. Norman Macleod and a band of teachers. It had been decided to sell the site intended for a new church, and a more suitable site had been purchased. . A generous supporter to the congregation having agreed to subsidise donations toward a new church fund, an appeal for subscriptions had been made to the congregation. The fund now stands at £l3O. Messrs. M. S. Galloway. J. E. King, K, E. McKinnon and M. C. Stevens were elected to the vacancies on the board of managers.
