WARM AND OVERCAST
Fine Weather Continues Warm and overcast weather, with a northerly air, was experienced in Wellington yesterday. After sunset the sky cleared. At Auckland the weather was fine, with a dull, cloudy sky. Last evening the barometer was steady at 30.10 in. The weather at Christchurch was. for the most part, overcast, with a few drops of rain in the afternoon. The wind was moderate to light from the north-east, and the maximum temperature 61 degrees. The barometer had a rising tendency. The reading in the evening was 30.00 in, It was fine, but boisterous aud unsettled at Dunedin. The wind was fresh and squally from the south-west, and the maximum temperature was 64 degrees. The barometer was steady, and the reading in the evening was 29.95 in.
