The appeal by his Worship the Mayor, Mr. G. A. Troup, for funds for unemployment and Christmas relief is being responded to by the Wellington Symphony Orchestra (conductor, Leon de Mauny) In the form of a special concert to be presented In the Town Hall on Tuesday. December 16. An interesting programme has been arranged, Including ever-popular orchestral numbers of the lighter character and vocal Items bv Mrs. Wilfred Andrews and Signor Lucien Caesaroni. Tho box plan is at the Bristol, where the scats at 2/0 may be reserved.
