Two Women in China STRIPPED AND ROBBED Shanghai, November 30. Mrs. H. D. Hayward, an American, and Miss Egomersal, a British nurse, left Vim Station, LanchOW, at the end Of October for Peking. Mts. Hayward, who was critically ill, was seeding a surgical operation. Last week, when twenty miles from Patoa-Chen, and while travelling on rafts, bandits captured and robbed the t -en and stripped them of theif clothing. The Women are still in captivity. The weather is freezing, Other missionaries are attempting a rescue. A relief party leaves Peking to-morrow seeking the captive ladles. The party is composed of Messrs.
