Titahi Bay Club PRESENTATION OF PRIZES A most enjoyable afternoon was spent on Saturday, when the Titahi Ladies Golf Club held its closing day. A foursome over twelve holes was played, the winners being Misses Flanagan and Dennehy. The president, Mr. Brice, accompanied by Mrs. Brice, also the club captain, Mr. Hustler Smith, and his wife, was entertained at afternoon tea, after which the trophies won during the season were presented by Mrs. Brice.. . The following is a list of the prize-win-ners:—Club championship, Miss P. Milson, runner-up Miss W. Davis; junior championship, Miss Avery, runner-up Miss Bath; C Division championship, Miss McIntosh, runner-up Mrs. Hughes; L.G.U. silver medal, Miss Turner; L.G.U. bronze medal, Miss Yeoman; best net aggregate three rounds, Miss Yeoman (trophy presented by president, Mr. S. BrlCe); Hag match, Miss Yeoman; medal rouud, Miss Byrne; bogey competition, Miss Harrison; flag match, Miss Harrison; eclectic competition, Miss McKee (trophy presented by Miss Batham); flag match, Mrs. Hughes (trophy presented by Mr. E. Johnston); best net aggregate three rounds, Mrs. Carr (trophy presented by club captain. Miss Buncehall); bogey competition, Miss Bath; flag match,'Miss Dennehy (trophy presented by Mr. A. Moore); bogey competition, Miss McKee (trophy presented by Ardath & Co.); best net score during season, Miss McKee; best aggregate four . net scores, during season,. Miss Yeoman (trophy presented by Mr. Hurley); fourball, Miss Harrlsrin and Mrs. Boon; flag match. Miss White (trophy presented by Mrs. Whitehead); ringer competition, Miss Avery and- Mrs. Carr (tied); L.G.U. competitions, silver buttons, Miss Wilson (2), Miss Yeoman (4). After the presentation. Mr. Hustler Smith; referred to the services .rendered by the ladles’ captain, Miss Buncehall, during- the season, and asked her to accept a small token of appreciation; On Saturday, December 6, the anniversary of the opening of the Tltahi golf links and clubhouse, medal competitions over 18 holes will be held for trophies presented by the Titahi Golf Club Company, Ltd., members to arrange their own partners.
