gir,—l have waited patiently for Air. P. .1. O’Regan’s answer to Mr. F. G. Ryder’s letter, ’ and am disappointed at its non-appearance. It seems to me that Mr. Ryder asks a very pertinent question ■which I should like to see Mr. 0 Regan answer We all know that things are wrong,'as Mr. O’Regan knows, but he does not tell us how to put them right. It is no use abandoning one set of principles, however wrong, . till you have something better to take its place. Won t Mr. O’Regan take up Mr. Ryder s challenge and show the public lie is on the right track, or at least a better track?— 1 ani A STRIDENT OF ECONOMICS.
