STATE LOTTERY
New South Wales Move OPENING OF PARLIAMENT Sydney, November 24. The New South Wales State Parliament will open this week, and it is expected to adjourn over Christmas after passing Supply and a Moratorium It is understood that steps are being taken for the early establishment of a State lottery. The Governments main financial schemes will not lie announced till the House reassembles after the holiday, when financial and unemployment problems will engage attention. The proposal for the abolition of the Upper House will be left till later in the session. HOSPITAL’S FINANCES Urgent Need of Aid Sydney. November 24. The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital has been so severely hit by cial depression that two hundred beds will be closed this week unless aid is forthcoming.
