Irish Sweepstake Winner ANALYSIS OF FINANCES London, November 23. A Belfast Civil servant who, being unable to sell the last of a book of tickets, shared it with a local barman, drew the first prize, £204,764, in the Irish Sweep, but tis lie had sold hall the ticket for £3500, their net win was £102,382. The newspapers point out that the Irish Sweep cost almost as much in expenses as the £131,724 it provided for Irish hospitals. Correspondents and leader-writers are increasingly insisting on the sane tinning of sweeps in Britain to aid hos pitals.
