MISSIONARY SAFE
Word of Miss Haslam
Sydney, November 24.
Word has been received here announcing the safety of Miss M. E. Haslam, of Sydney, whose capture by Chinese bandits in the mission field was recently reported.
Miss Haslam has been in China since 1908. With her at Hangchung-fu, which was reported to be in the hands of bandits, are Mr. A. Strange and his English wife, both of whom have been in China for seven years.
