Suspension Not Favoured VOTE TAKEN AT MEETING Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, November 24. By 112 votes to 1, a motion to suspend the arbitration award for six months was defeated at a meeting of the Manawatu Flaxmill Employees’ Association on Saturday afternoon. The meeting was well attended and before being put to the vote the motion was discussed for two hours. At the conclusion of the meeting a unanimous vote of confidence in the executive was carried.
