Manor Park Club During the week-end a flag competition was held on the Manor Park links, which resulted in a tie for Mrs. Burns and Mr. B. Clarke, who each ran out of strokes at the nineteenth bole. _ A bogey competition resulted in a win for D. Gody (9), who returned a card of 4 up, doing 76. Second place fell to J. Burns, all square. The medal contest for a trophy presented by Mr. H. G. Robertson brought a win to Mrs. Butler, with the splendid score of 65 net, ladies receiving six strokes on their handicap during the summer. D. Porter’s 68 gave him second place. . The greens and fairways were m good condition. Hutt Ladies’ Club The closing day of the Hutt Ladies’ Club was held last Wednesday. A bogey competition played in the morning was won by Mrs. Treadwell. A Canadian foursome in the afternoon resulted in a tie between Miss Grady and Miss L. Balilnger and Mrs. Chesney and Mrs. Pearce. The play-off was won by Miss Grady and Miss E. Ballinger. \A. putting competition was won by Miss Grady. The club captain, Mrs. Treadwell, presented the trophies won during the year, the winners being as follow: —Senior championship, Mrs. Pearce; runner-up, Mrs. Treadwell. Junior championship, Miss N. Ballinger; runner-up, Miss Young. Foreman Cup, Mrs. Pearce. Spiers Cup, Mrs. Wagg; Wilford Cup, Mrs. Treadwell: Mrs. Chesneys trophy, Mrs. Seddon; Mrs. Pearce’s trophy, Miss B. Jervis; L.G.U. silver medal, Mrs. Pearce; L.G.U. bronze medal. Miss N. Ballinger; Riddiford medal, Miss B. Gilkison; Miss Bunny’s trophy. Miss B.
