FIVE HOURS LATE
Auckland Express Delayed Delayed by a slip which came down on the line nortli of Taihape, about 172 miles from Wellington, the Auckland express, which arrives usually at Wellington nt 12.38 p.m., did not arrive yesterday until 5.5!) p.m. It was attached to the New Plymouth express from Marton to Wellington. The Limited express, too, was delayed 44 minutes yesterday, but this was not due to the slip.
