Suicide of Three Sisters UNABLE TO PAY TAXES Vancouver, November 21. i Three sisters at Santa Monica, Inseparable companions since the youngest was born sixty years ago, waded together into the Pacific Ocean and were drowned. Because of stock market losses they were unable to pay their taxes. Only in death were the women ever separated. The bodies of two have been recovered, but the third is missing. One of them was blind. Santa Monica is a popular seaside resort about ten miles from Los Angeles, and five from Hollywood. It is a bay about fifteen miles long, and is dotted with seaside settlements, which enjoy immense popularity for eight or nine months of the year
