Christchurch, November 21. z Wililam Robert Sharp, aged 30, described as a labourer and a native of England,' appeared before the magistrate to-day on two charges. of demanding money with menace and intent He was remanded, to November 2u. The charges were a sequel to a. sensational affair in Manchester Street last night, when a man is alleged to have held up two pedestrians, drawing an air pistol from his pocket as he did so.
