POULTRY CONFERENCE
South Island Association By Telegraph —Press Association. Hokitika, JJovember 19. The annual conference of the South Island Poultry Association was held today. The delegates were welcomed by the Mayor, Mr. Perry, at the Town Hall, the president of the conference, Mr. G. Jeffreys, of Christchurch, replying. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted. The balance-sheet showed a substantial credit balance. The election of officers resulted in the re-election of the president and secretary and most of the vice-presidents of last year. > . Show dates as desired by the various clubs were approved. The conference will conclude this evening.
