Restoration Completed London, November 14. “St. Paul’s ia safe now and my work is finished,” declared Sir Mervyn Macartney when resigning the surveyorship of St. Paul’s Cathedral, which he has held for twenty-six years. “If Wren had been more experienced the building would not have been classed as dangerous,” Sir Mervyn added.
