Election of Officers
The conference of the New Zealand Railway Olfieers’ Institute concluded at Wellington this week. Arrangements were made for a deputation to meet the Minister of Railways, Hon. W. A. Veitch. The election of officers resulted ns follows: President, Mr. V. R. J. .Stanley (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs. R. S. Skinner (Auckland), E. W. Barnes (Wellington), J. J. McAlvon (Christchurch), J. S. Roscoe (Christchurch) ; general treasurer, Mr. W. A. Finlayson ; executive committee, Messrs. G.
Hoare. R. G.'Croudis, E. W. McKuin, C. Gallagher, V. C. Hardie, G. R. Wilson, B. Wylde.
