This is undoubtedly the most wonderful lemon ever introduced for hardiness, early fruiting, and perfect shaped fruit. Trees bear very young, and often iu nursery rows they are a sight to behold, with fruit from end to end, bunches carrying from six to ten lemons: in fact, no tree is too small to bear. The fruit in shape resembles the Tahitian lime, but is larger with a smooth glossy skin of a deep golden yellow colour. It has been tried out with great success in districts where lemon growing was hitherto unknown and thrives very well iu the Wairarapa district.
