SUSPENDED DRIVER
License Cancelled By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, July 25. A maximum penalty of £lO and costs was imposed to-day upon Norman Wardell for driving a car while his driving license was under suspension. The magistrate, Mr. Mosley, said that he looked upon such an offence as one of the most serious that could occur under the Motor Vehicles Act. Wardell was also fined £2O for driving while in a state of intoxication. His license was cancelled.
