A N Examination under the Electrical Wiremen’s Registration Act will be held on FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 and 27, 1930. The Examination consists of two parts, and these may be passed one part at a time or both parts together; but it is necessary to pass both parts, to be nineteen years of age, and to have not less than three years’ service in electrical wiremen’s work before registration can be obtained. Application forms may be obtained from the Registrar, Electrical Wiremen’s Registration Board, Wellington. Applications to be examined must be made out on the yellow forms and must reach the Registrar not later than FRIDAY, AUGUST 15. _ Copies of previous examination questions may be obtained from the Registrar, price 1/- per set for any one examination. , The sets for September, 1928, March, 1929, September, 1929, and March. 1930, are now available. XTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the Wellington City Council ,to introduce in the present session of Parliament “The Wellington City and Suburban Water Supply Amendment Bill.” The objects that the said Bill is intended to effect are:— 1. To exclude the Boroughs of Petone and Lower Hutt from the operation of the Wellington City and Suburban Water Supply Act. 1927, from date of the passing of the proposed Act. 2. To preserve the special rate liability in respect of the existing Loan raised under the said Act.
