W.F.C.A. BALL
The annual ball of the W.F.C.A., Ltd., which was held in the municipal hall last night, was an outstanding success, the attendance, including visitors from as far away as Feilding, Palmerston North, Dannevirke, and Wellington, and also members of all the firm’s branches, was about 450. The hall was decorated by members of the men’s committee. Extras were played by Mr. J. Ford and the W.F.C.A. Orchestra. The supper arrangements were attended to by a willing band of lady members of the staff.' The M.’sC. were Messrs. G. Challis. F. Williams, M. Devine, and D. Hogg, while the chaperons were Mesdames C. M. Bowden, Trevor Beetham, and V. E. Donald.
