Mr. J. N. McLean. organising secretary of the Wairarapa Progress League, attended the annual meeting of the Eketaliuna Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday night' and briefly addressed 'the meeting, asking it to sunport the scheme for the establishment of” district committees. After a short discussion it was decided on the motion of the chairman, Mr. A. 11. Herbert, that the chamber resolve 'itself into a committee of the league.
