Mr. L. T. Watkins (in the chair), Mrs. A. W. Hunter. Messrs. G. E. Brown, G. R. Baudinct, D. J. Dalglish W. Ferguson, L. Calvert, and the director were present at the monthly meeting of the committee of the Boys’ Institute and S. A. Rhodes Home. The director's monthly report showed that the attendance during the winter months had been well maintained. The pictures showed an increase in attendance of 218 compared with the same month for the previous year, the total attendance for the month of June being 799 boys. A very satisfactory report of the progress of the .Scout troop was received. The games room presented a scene of activity at present, as the games room shield was now in progress, also the ping-pong championship. The football tennis were holding their own on the field. Five grades were entered in the Soccer code and three in the Rugby.
