Without resting even for a moment he turned back, and when at the top of the mount skipped for ten minutes and did a little shadow sparring. He then ran down over the hill to Plrie Street, along Austin Street into Majoribanks Streets, from where he went over Mount Victoria to the tire station again. From hero "the Terrible Turk” ran as far as Athletic Park, from where he proceeded to trot and walk alternatively, to Island Bay.
