CANADIAN TIMBER
New Zealand Preference Vancouver, July 23. The New Zealand preference to Canadian lumber greatly pleases the British Columbian lumbermen, who declare that the action will materially assist the negotiation of the new trade agreement at Ottawa, which the Prime Minister, Mr. Mackenzie King, has made one of the leading issues in his election campaign. The preference to manufactured doors and sashes is particularly welcome.
