Breaches of the traffic by-laws were riif with by Mr. H. Woodward* S»M.» in the Magistrate’s Court Leaving their motor-cars unattended cost Stanley Oldham and Charles W. Phipson 10/- each. . Kenneth G. Sharp was fined H for increasing speed 'while driving over an a motor-car in Street Gwepdlyn Merriman waa convicted and ordered to pay costa only., Kenneth A. McLennan was con-rieted and ordered to pay costa and vritnessw expenses for failing to give way to traffic OII For C parking at a tram stop Jack M. Pauli was fined 10/-. t»..4. Kenneth Anderson, Edmund Davis, Thomas Giltrap, and William Wells were each fined £1 for having no lights Mt.«v«bicles George W. Bryant and Robert D. Christie were each fined 6/-, LharlcslC. Bushby was fined 10/-. , Arthur C. Clendon was fined 10/- for having no tail light on his motor-car. and for failing to obtain a motor driver s license he was ordered to> pay costs only. • Cutting a corner cost Arthur Keuy For riding a bicycle with insufficient lighting, Horace W. Whyte was fined Robert R- Wilberfoss was fined 10/for “cutting in.” , . , Failure to obtain a motor driver s license cost James A. Iripp 10/-. For driving the wrong way in a oneway street James Lauchlan was fined 10/-. On a simlar charge Frank 1. Alexander was ordered to pay costs only. Walter Zander was fined 10/- for tailing to" sound his horn. . A charge of negligent driving against Edmond L. Bell was dismissed. . For dangerous driving Isaac Bassm was fined £4, and Hugh Austin was fined £3.
