RACE ACROSS TASMAN
MELBOURNE YACHTSMAN’S CHALLENGE Sydney, May 15. Mr. F. Benuel, of Melbourne, owner of the yacht Oimara, which won last year’s race across the Bass Strait, has issued a challenge to Mr. Willis, owner of the Sydney yacht Wanderer, to race to New Zealand. Other boats can compete. Mr. Willis, seen in Sydney, stated that nothing definite had been arranged.
