An intense anti-cyclone covers South-Eastern Winds northerly and moderate to strong north of Greymouth and Akaroa; southerlies thence southward and gradually becoming general. Seas rather rough about Cook Strait and rising on the East Coast or the South Island; elsewhere moderate in New Zealand waters, mooerate to fresh southerly winds and moderate to rather rough sea.
