Huge Cuttlefish Washed Ashore.—A huge dead cuttlefish was washed ashore at Goose Bay. Kaikoura, recently, and the picture shows what was left of it after some fishermen had mutilated it for bait. Its body was lift, long, and its arms measured nearly 30ft. across. This dread inhabitant of the seas is a rare visitor to New Zealand waters.
