UNFORTUNATE RIDER
MOTOR-CYCLIST’S SECOND ACCIDENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hawera, May 15. A motor-cyclist, Colin Horner, aged 26, of Hawera, is in hospital following a collision on the main south road at 2.30 a.m. A fracture of the leg suffered in a motor collision in January reopened. A car driven by James Owen passed a side road down which Owen intended to turn, and was backing a few yards when the cycle came up from behind. A pillion rider with Horner escaped injury.
