STEAMER STRANDING
TO WELLINGTON FOR INSPECTION By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, April 11. The steamer Alexander, which went aground on soft bottom at Freiicli Pass early on Tuesday moring, was refloated on this morning’s tide, and arrived at Nelson at 5 o'clock. She sails for Wellington this evening to undergo Government inspoctioa.
