DUTIES ON CARS
SURPRISE FOR FRENCH IMPORTERS (Rec. April 11, 7.30 p.m.). Paris, April 10. It is stated that the Customs Board took this action to prevent the threatened rushing over of thousands of American cars in order to avoid the new French Tariff Bill, which operates in a few weeks’ time.
