FLOWER SHOW
HUTT VALLEY SOCIETY. Recent rain has ensured an excellent crop of flowers for the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society's chrysanthemum show, which opens next Wednesday. His Excellency the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, will open the show. In addition to the flowers, fruit, vegetables, needlework, cooking, home industries, and writing will be covered in sections. Entries close on Tuesday, and prizes will ,be presented an Thursday evening.
