INJURED WORKERS
COMMITTEE OF INQUIRY March IS has been fixed by the Minister of Labour (Hon. W. A. Veitch) as the date for the commencement of the sitting of the special committee which is to investigate the operation of the Workers’ Compensation Act. The Minister stated yesterday that the personnel of the committee was almost completed and would be announced in the course of a few days. The object of the inquiry is to remedy existing anomalies in the legislation and. if possible, to improve the position of injured workers.
