WORSER BAY CLUB. The following are the results of races lield at the week-end by the Worser Bay Swimming and Life-saving Club;— Second distance, Lynam Cup, 50 yards, free style haiidleap, boys under 14 years; J. Gendall (scr.), 1; D. Gendall (13sec,), 2; D. Jenkins (20sec.), J. I. Gendall wins the cup as the result of this race. The half-mile race for tlic Biair Cup, from Seatoun Wharf to Worser Bay, was swum in a very choppy sea, which made the going hard. After a good race the placings were ns follow:—J. M. Blakeney (50.sce.). 1: «. Bell l2ooscc.), 2: J. W. Newport (ser.), 3. Newport made fastest lime A diving competition was also held for a trophy donated by Mr. V, L. .Allan, am* after u splendid exhibition of diving the pbieings were as follow:—G, Rowntree, 10 points, 1; J. W. Newport and A. H. Henderson, 14 points, tied, 2.
