MAGISTRATE’S COURT

BY-LAW AND CIVIL CASES Messrs. Edgar and Stone, J.P.’s, dealt •with offenders against the by-laws in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Lionel Burney, for parking more than 12 inches from the kerb, was fined £l. Failing to register his motor-lorry cost Frank Clark £l. Anthony T. Cooper was fined 5/- for turning his motor-car in Manners Street. William J. Marriet and Gifford Nicholls were each fined £1 for passing a stationary tramcar. John E. Miles wl,s fined £1 for failing to keep his sanitary fittings in reP Ernest W. Warren was fined 10- for having no driver’s license and 5/- for having no horn on his motor-cycle. Arthur Macspree was convicted and ordered to pay 10/- court costs on a charge of allowing his stock to wander. On a charge of keeping a dangerous dog Ernest G.
