The nor-’west weather which prevailed recently caused a hold-up in the advanced work at the Wigram Aerodrome. The pilot officers who are now engaged in putting the finishing touches to their training hud been looking forward to machine-gun practice over Lake Ellesmere. Recently they had machine-gun practice over the lake, but the machines were piloted by members of the permanent stuff. Before the course finishes they will put in solo machine-gun practice over the lake, but this is being held up by the very unsuitable flying weather.
