The three decks refrigerated steamer Arafura, 5597 tons gross register, built at Vegesack in 1963, by the Bremer A’ulkan; dimensions 403.2 ft. by 49.2 ft. by 27.1 ft., and owned by the Eastern and Australian Steamship Company, Ltd., London, has been sold to the Osaka Kaiji Kabushiki Kaisha, Osaka. OIL TANKERS SOLD’. The oil tankers Emile Deutsch de la Meurthe, which recently visited New Zealand, and her sister ship Henry Deutsch de la Meurthe, have been sold by the Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Co., Ltd., to a Norwegian company, for about £75,000 each, combined with a 10 years' time charter at 5.s 6d. per ton fqr the first live years, and ss. per ton for the balance of the period..
