VITAL STATISTICS
FIGURES FOR THE YEAR A decrease in the number of births and- deaths, and an increase in the number of marriage notices and marriages by the Registrar are shown in the vital statistics in the Wellington district for the past year, when comparison is made with figures for the year -previous. For December, 1929, there were more births than in December of 1928, and fewer deaths. The figures are as follow:—
