BOY SERIOUSLY BURNT

Christchurch, December 30. i When Joe Harding, a six-year-old boy, was sitting on a petrol lorry, which was filling the tanks of a service station at the corner of Fitzgerald Avenue and Ferry Road, he struck a match, and igniting the fumes, was seriously burned on the legs, face, and hands. He was removed to the Christchurch Hospital, where he is on the seriously ill list.
