EULOGISTIC COMMENT BY MR. LANSBURY WARM ADMIRATION EVOKED (Rec. December 30, 7.50 p.m.). London, December 30. . Mr. George Lansbury, commenting on the New Zealand Carillon at Hyde Park, said it was a splendid thing for the people of Wellington to bring into being what.must be a unique war memorial. The public-spirited action of the High Commissioner was making it possible for London to hear one of the finest examples of the bell-founder’s craft. The carillon evokes warm admiration. LORD BLEDISLOE’S FIRST OFFICIAL ENGAGEMENT London, December 28. Lord Bledisloe’s first official New Zealand engagement will be on January 1, when he will participate in the first performance of the full Wellington carillon in Hyde Park.
