CHANGE OF OFFICERS As is the usual custom with the Sal- ' vatlon Army, the annual change of officers in New Zealand will operate in the coming week, and about eighty-four corps are affected by the move. Ollicers of the Wellington Division are affected as follow:—Ensign S. Bridge (Wellington City) is appointed to Palmerston North. He is succeeded by Field-Major R. Simpson (Petone) and Lieutenant G. Gooday from Kilbirnie. Captain E. Thorne (Wellington South) goes to Auckland in charge of the Congress Hall Corps, and is to be succeeded by Commandant A. Podmore, from Gisborne. Captain C. Lee (Kilbirnie) takes command at Levin, and is followed by Ensign A. Kermode, from St. Albans. Captain J. Inger and Lieutenant A. Haines will leave Island Bay in favour of Captain E. Askew (Queenstown). The Karori commanding officer will be Captain 11. Robinson, from Winton, Captain C. Avenell having been transferred to Sumner. Ensign W. Armstrong will relinquish command at Blenheim for Commandant A. Calcott, and Nelson is to be in charge of Commandant 11. Adams, Ensign H. Parkinson leaving that city for Petone. Adjutant M.
