XTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Eastbourne Borough Council held on Thursday, December 12, 1929, the following Resolution was passed ; —• “THAT the Eastbourne Borough Council in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and its Amendments, and in pursuance and exercise of every other Act or power enabling it in that behalf amends by Special Order General By-law, 1922, No. 34, page 13, paragraph “g,” and adds thereto paragraph "h” as follows : —- “g” drive or ride any bicycle or vehicle along any street, with the exception of the Main Street (Mnritai Rdad), at a greater speed than 15 miles an hour. “h” drive or ride any bicycle or vehicle along the Main Street (Muritai Road) at a greater speed than twenty-five miles an hour.” AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the Eastbourne Borough Council to be held on Monday, January 13, 1930, at the Council Chambers.
