In testing tea in Britain, water taken from various parts of the country is used, so that suitable blends may be found for each district. Credited with 3000 years of life, a yew tree at Fortingall, near Loch Tay, is claimed to be the oldest tree in Europe. Yews are the longest-lived trees in England.
