STUDENT TROUBLES IN KOREA
MANY ARRESTS MADE (Rec. December 27, 8.55 p.m.) Tokio, December 27. The arrest is revealed of 180 Korean Students in Tokio universities who allegedly are implicated in recent student troubles in Korea. The Japanese authorities in Korea allege that the trouble among the students has developed into a political character under the direction of a “secret society of Communist’tendency.” The vermicular papers in Tokio assert that the movement involved forty schools in six Korean provinces.
